How do I Use ProFusion™ System?

You use ProFusion™ like a normal shampoo and conditioner. There are no lotions to rub in and no tablets or pills to take.
Every day, you simply wash your hair with the shampoo and repeat, keeping it in contact with your scalp for about a minute before rinsing it out and then apply a conditioner leaving that on your scalp for about another minute or two and then rinse as usual.
It is best to use ProFusion™ at the same time every day, some users reporting to us that they find it to be most effective last thing at night before going to bed.

Do I have to use both the Shampoo and Conditioner?

Yes. To see the full effect, you must use the shampoo and the conditioner.

Do I have to use the Shampoo first then the Conditioner?

No, this isn't essential. Some users prefer to use the conditioner first on dry hair and then rinse and follow with the shampoo. Try both methods and see what works best for you.

Do I have to use ProFusion™ Every Day?

Yes, we recommend that you use ProFusion™ system every day. If you miss one day once in a while this won't affect the overall effectiveness of the product. However if you use it erratically or once in a while, it will not be as effective.

Once my Hair has Stabilised do I have to keep using ProFusion™?

Yes. As ProFusion™ is formulated to prevent hair loss or significantly slow the hair loss process, if you stop using the product then nature will again take charge and your hair loss will most likely go back to as it was before you began using ProFusion™.

I have Hair Loss with Dandruff, can I use ProFusion™ Products?

Definitely. Users with dandruff have reported a major improvement in their dandruff problem with ProFusion™ shampoo. It can be used as a dandruff shampoo in its own right. Itching flaking scalps can also contribute to hair loss, especially if you are forced to scratch your scalp to ease the itching. A healthier scalp will assist in hair retention.

Where would I be most likely to see Regrowth in my hair?

The areas where you lost your hair lost will be the first areas likely to regrow. The areas which have been bald for many years are unlikely to have roots remaining which could again sustain hair growth. When hair growth occurs it will be as a general shrinking of the hair free area from the existing hairline inwards.

When can I expect to ProFusion™ to have an Effect on my Hair?

You should see a general thickening and improved health of your hair almost straight away. Some users have also said that their hair has grown a little faster as soon as they started using the product. The initial improvement is cosmetic but you should start seeing a slowing in hair loss after about 6 months of continuous usage with the peak effect seen after 9-12 months.

What Drugs are in the ProFusion™ Shampoo and Conditioner Formula?

None. ProFusion™ Shampoo and Conditioner is not based on any drug therapies. Some other products on the market are based on blood pressure drugs, prostate gland drugs and other products some of which may effect the hormones in your body. ProFusion™ does not use this mechanism of action.

How does the System Work?

Hair loss is caused by a sensitivity in the scalp to a naturally occurring chemical called Dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Testosterone is converted to DHT by another chemical (an enzyme) called 5 alpha-reductase. Hair growth takes place over four phases:-

• Anagenic
• Catagenic
• Telegenic and
• Exogenic, when the hair eventually falls out and is replaced.

The complete cycle takes between 2-4 years and that can be considered the lifespan of a human hair. It is generally agreed that this mechanism of action of hair loss involves a gradual thinning and weakening of the hair follicle until eventually no hair grows at all. There is still some debate in scientific circles regarding the exact mechanism of action that DHT takes upon the root of the hair causing it to weaken, but it is generally agreed that the blood flow to the hair root is constricted.
It has been proposed that the active ingredients of ProFusion™, work by a localised vasodilatatory (widening) effect upon the scalp blood vessels which have narrowed, aiming to return them to normal so they can again provide each hair root with vital nutrients.
We would stress that ProFusion™ is not a pharmaceutical product, it is shampoo and conditioner.

How is ProFusion™ Different to other Hair Loss Treatments?

Many hair loss treatments are primarily based upon a herb called Saw Palmetto which is often used to promote prostate gland health in men. Others are pharmaceutical based and aim to block the 5-alpha reductase enzyme.
ProFusion™ has a different mechanism of action to these other products and works in a different area to products which affect the body's hormonal system.

My Hair Loss is due to Chemotherapy. Can I use ProFusion™ Products?

We know of no reason why you should not use ProFusion™ products which may be able help your hair to grow back more quickly. We have not had any customers report back to us on the success of ProFusion™ in hair loss caused by chemotherapy and we would like to hear from you. As this may help other people also receiving chemotherapy.

Can I take Supplements while I am using ProFusion™?

We have not heard of any interactions with vitamins or other food supplements and products such as Vitamin B supplements may bring extra benefit by helping the circulation to your scalp.
