Next time you travel by London Underground and are going to Kings Cross watch out for a number of advertisements for ProFusion hair loss shampoo and conditioner which are being advertised both on the up and down escalators. What is also very interesting is that, there is also an advertisement for Boots Hair Retention Programme on the same escalator. Good to see hair loss products in the mainstream. You can see one of the advertisements previewed on the ProFusion website http://www.prohairbiosystems.com

I was watching the Hercule Poirot Christmas Mystery, starring the brilliantly cast David Suchet (whose brother incidentally is the newscaster John Suchet). The utterly immaculate and faultless Belgian detective with his usual charm and surgeon-like precision solved yet another unsolvable case, showing his absolutely superiority and expertise in reading and understanding the human psyche. Put simply David Suchet is brilliant at the part….brilliant and bald! Probably like so many others watching this program, I am so utterly captivated by Mr Suchet’s performance and the way he… read more

There is a lot of jargon around regarding hair loss and one of the descriptions people use to describe their hair loss if referring to the Norwood scale of hairloss which is often abbreviated to NW1 etc. The correct terms for normal hair loss (and hair loss in men is pretty normal) is androgenic alopecia. The scale goes from Norwood 1 to Norwood 7. Norwood 7 is what we are all trying to avoid and involves a total hair loss from the top of the head with only the hair around the sides remaining. NWI. This is where hairloss has just begun and is not really noticeable NW2. This is just where there is a very small amount of hair… read more
